Daredevil

I did a commission for Kevin. I normally don't draw superheroes, but he and I were talking about our favorite character being Daredevil. I loved the Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli runs on it, and were my favorites growing up, so it was actually pretty fun to do this. Rafael Grampa did a drawing of Daredevil where he pointed out that Daredevil's radar is always drawn so geometrically perfect, and how that wouldn't be the case as he's a human being as opposed to a machine. I liked that idea. Also, I wanted to create an effect of an ultrasound, simulating what I would believe to be similar to how DD would actually see things. I put way too much thought in this superhero drawing, but there you go.

There's no such thing as putting too much thought. This is really cool!

Yeah, as Bob said. Just because a superhero is a corporate product doesn't mean you shouldn't put thought into it. If more people thought about superheroes the world would become a better place because we would elevate ourselves. What we think about becomes true.
